Fell on Saturday, February 8, 1969 at 1:10 am creating the largest stone
meteorite strewnfield of 300 km sq. Recovered weight is over 3 tons. This
refractory-rich meteorite formed in the outer solar system and contains
unvaporized interstellar grains from the solar nebula.
Shown is a partial slice 55mm x 47mm x 2.5mm and 27 grams.
